Many CSEdWeek events go beyond the Hour of Code, incorporating a wide range of activities for students and, in some cases, for their parents, families, and teachers. To see what others are doing, and to get ideas for what you might do, browse all of the listings or search using criteria given on the right hand side of the page. You can also view the map to see events across the country and in your area.
Please submit a description of your own event to add to the calendar so that we can build this resource for others who follow. Thanks!
The Fayette County (Pennsylvania) 4H (Penn State Extension) Robotics Club was formed in July 2014. Member ages range from 7 to 13. To celebrate National Computer Science Education Week, we are hosting a Family Night. Members and their families will build, program, and test the EV3 Robotic Arm project. This will be our first "workshop" event. The Club's goal is to initiate and sustain an outreach program. Members will conduct workshops (and later competitions) within the county in an effort to develop interest in Robotics and Computer Science. The club also hopes to compete in First Lego League next season (Fall/Winter 2015).
