Many CSEdWeek events go beyond the Hour of Code, incorporating a wide range of activities for students and, in some cases, for their parents, families, and teachers. To see what others are doing, and to get ideas for what you might do, browse all of the listings or search using criteria given on the right hand side of the page. You can also view the map to see events across the country and in your area.
Please submit a description of your own event to add to the calendar so that we can build this resource for others who follow. Thanks!
For the second year in a row, Old Mission Montessori School children from Kindergarten thru Eighth Grade will spend an hour in the computer lab finding out how fun and easy coding truly is. 1st thru 5th grade is already working through the studio.code.org three-stage curriculum. But tackling "Frozen" and Tynker and Bitsbox isn't all the coding that will happen... teachers will also be presenting modules from the "unplugged" curriculum in various classes. It will be an exciting week at OMMS during December 8th thru 12th.
