Fitchburg State University’s Department of Computer Science is pleased to invite you to send a team to our 16th High School Computer Programming Contest! There is no cost for the contest or refreshments!

The contest will be held on Friday, December 5th on the Fitchburg State University campus. All programming will be done on IBM-compatible PC’s in C, C++, Java, Python, Visual Basic.Net, and/or Visual C++. A team may choose to program in any or all of these languages. The problems will be solvable in all of the languages. Registration will start at 8:00am and the award ceremony will be completed by 2:00pm. Fitchburg State University will provide breakfast in the morning, lunch and ice cream at the end of the contest to all participants. We will also provide food for an advisor. Again, there is no fee for the contest or refreshments.

Each one to four person team will compete as a unit. They will have one computer and a team area for their use. There will be a minimum of seven problems. The team who solves the most problems correctly wins. In case of a tie, the team who took the least accumulated time wins. Teams may bring books but may not bring computers, flash drives, or software.
